Kianna Cameron
Kianna Cameron began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 16. Kianna describes sitting in the back seat of her parent’s car on the way to church— headphones on— listening to groups like Van Halen, Poison, or Def Leppard imagining she could play every guitar solo that came on. That music was just the start, but with so many of the greatest funk bands rising from her home state of Ohio, seasoning the groove with funky rhythms must come naturally. Listen to Kianna play and you will know she has even more to offer. This guitarist will take you from Gospel, to Rock and Funk, to a mixture of her own world of sound. Kianna’s love to entertain is on full display every time she meets a new audience. Her performances have afforded her the opportunity to share stages with classic groups such as the O’Jays and Dazz Band and modern acts such as award-winning gospel artist Israel Houghton & New Breed, R&B artist Queen Najia, rising pop artist Jen Miller, and rappers King Combs and Vic Mensa. Kianna is currently writing original music and collaborating on songs for up and coming artists.
